The BRDC Walter Hayes Trophy has always been a three day meeting.
We have official free practice, qualifying and a race planned for Friday.

Thanks Chezza.
I have not heard these rumours about it only being a two day event - if they are being spread it is incorrect.
Thanks for your support - the WHT this year should be quite special I think.

Thanks Alan.
Yes, the Forum will take place on the Saturday evening in the BRDC Clubhouse, and the Prize Giving will follow the end of racing in the Clubhouse on Sunday afternoon.

As Alan said both of us will be there on Saturday and Sunday. Depending on what time the forum finishes on Saturday we plan to pop down to the White Horse for the fireworks.

Fireworks - I am sure we will have plenty of those at the WHT.
What time do the White Horse Fireworks take place ?
I might have some here ?

I think Les is planning on starting the fireworks at approx 8.00pm and if it is the same as last year, continuing until about 10.00pm.

I suspect he will be having a hog roast but I haven't checked this yet.

The Silverstone web page always only showed two days for some reason ?
The BRDC site has always shown it as a three-day affair, and we have been working towards a three-day meeting.
Thanks for your support as always.

Thanks John -

It is a marketing reason it only says 5-6th on the front pages of the site.
I have still to confirm the logisitics for 'general public' to gain admission on the Friday.

You will recall that the new Silverstone Classic meeting was a full three-day meeting (practice from 9am until tea time), but was only ever advertised as a two day meeting on July 30/31 2005.

On our Member News pages in the Members section and in all Club related material it is a three day meeting. Always has been.
