I will explain TSR

Marcos Ambrose is no longer a V8 supercar driver , he is trying to make a name for himself in Nascar (as you well know) so therefore all discussion of him will be moved to the Nascar forum (unless it is discussing his exploits in the V8's)

but if it is related to what he is currently doing then it belongs in this forum (Nascar and related series)

Its not a matter of being a stooge its a matter of making things relevent as they appear in real life , this is what we decided will happen after Marcos made the switch and it is the way it will continue until or if Marcos returns to V8 supercars.

I hope that clears things up for you

Mike
He has qualified well

Marcos Ambrose was the best qualified rookie driver, starting outside the front row.

Before the finishing order posted by Dazz, Ambrose qualified 2nd.

Also did Ambrose (again) start at the back of the grid to get more racing time or was he involved in another accident?

He started front row

PS: still not a bad effort to be on the front row first time there

Enjoy

Robert Ryan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
He slipped down to around 16th, was making his way back when he lost every gear except 4th, he still finished 26th, his team mate finished 30th. Great effort by Marcos, he nearly had provisonal pole at Charllotte, has TWO fastest rookie places and now 2nd at Michigan all in SEVEN Oval races.!!!!
