HSCC - 28 Sept 2013 - Brands Hatch

timetable

entries

If memory servers me right, this meeting last year had the 1.5 hours in the middle sheltering from the monsoon while Race Control issued numerous different requests to those brave souls from Brands Maintenance to try ever more ingenious methods of moving water around. ....... surely not two years in a row

See folks there

Weather not so bad in the end, light showers in the afternoon. A great time with the guys on P8. Great racing from these fantastic vintage machines. And we finished early!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's all right, you don't have to mention the great flagging, especially the blues (giving you advanced notice) from post 4

Thanks to the crew on post 4 and to the drivers for making it so entertaining, especially the Touring Cars.

My Belgian friend Peter (and I) had a great day on 9.
A big thanks to all on post, always more than welcome on my post.

Although at one moment in the morning it was more a case of a gardeners convention, sort of our private version of (hint to the BBC) "Around the racetrack in 8 gardens".

Oh, and good to see so many people after my long forced lay off.

As always, interaction with posts before and after always has a big part to play in things ....... but as you have asked me not to mention the contribution you and your colleagues made then I will respect your wishes

But as ever, thanks

Then I won't mention, when the Mini came off at your post, I could see a hazard board, a waved yellow and a green light. I thought it was some kind of carnival!

hazard as it was one, Y had been withdrawn
yellow then because they wanted it pushed further up over the gravel
green - never pressed a button all day so better ask RC

Always happy to discuss any matters in person - it is a far better way of dealing with things like this
