Driver of the day at Thruxton
Who do we rekon was driver of the day at Thruxton. I think that Priaulx and Harvey did very well, espically Harvey with 30kg in the car for the sprint.

I have to say Thompson for entertaining the crowd so much with his battle with Muller. Considering the extra weight he was carrying in teh sprint race he did very well to keep up with and eventually pass Muller.

Thompson was right up there, and even though it looked like he had tyre trouble towards the end of the feature race, he still managed to close the gap between him and Muller.
Priaulx did well too, keeping the Honda up there! |

I'd have to say Aaron Slight cos he was flying in the sprint and was almost certain of an Indie win, just a shame he had to slow down to save the car and didn't make it out in the feature
Better luck next time |

Priaulx. He drove well in a new car and got two top 5 finishes. Well done Andy!

I got some time sheets are slights times very very similar, and it was hardly a definate win in the first or second (as the press release says) coz harvey and eaves were on his tail the whole time. I hate it when plp exagerate!

He passed Harvey and was getting nearer to Priaulx when the head gasket blew so I think he had a very good chance of winning actually

he had a chance of winning but its just the press release b went over the top saying he had to 'allow' the pugs through, but having looked at his times (thanks to MST's website) i saw that his lap times hardly changed at all!

I think save of the day must go to Paul O`neill, round the back at post ten exiting noble, can`t think who was along side him, but he got the biggest wobble on you could ever imagine, and held the car with control beyond his years, we all thought INCOMING !!!! well done Paul...
No ballast next time... |
