2 Women at Kentucky?
Word on the street here in Indy is that Sarah Fisher will make a return to the IRL for Dreyer & Reinboldt at Kentucky Motor Speedway next week.

I'm pretty sure there is a news article on that somewhere. I know i read one.
Last time i saw two women on the racetrack was Indy in 2003 - Sarah and Lyn St. James. (And they both crashed at the same time!!!) |

the year was 2000 (lyn's last '500').
Sarah hasn't been in an IRL car since 2003. |

...but I don't think Sarah throwing a tantrum will be as cute as when Danica does...
seriously, good luck to them both! |

Honestly I doubt that either is all that focussed on what the other is doing. |

the pressure to be in big time racing must be incredible, but to have the "stigma" of being a "girl" on top of that must be insane pressure...I admire them both! |

but what if Sarah finishes ahead of Danica? that'll make more than a few eyebrows go up...if she doesn't, then people will just say it was the equipment...I just may have to watch this particular race... |

which brings up another question: who is losing their seat so that Sarah can run, or are they bringing out a third car?

add Briscoe and Buddy's points together and they'd be in 14th.
Also, given Briscoe's points per race (23) over 11 races, he'd be 7th in points. Sarah will be driving the #5 car. D&R only ran 2 cars at the '500' all the other races have had EITHER Briscoe or Buddy driving, not both. |

Seems like a good PR move by IRL.
I'd back Fisher against a number of IRL drivers no matter their gender. |

Sarah can help bring a good amount of sponsorship to the league (she had a TON of associate sponsors) and is a good enough shoe to deserve a seat. I also think she has matured as a person a lot in these few years out.
