I always thought that Eugene O'brien was mad. Like when he drove into Keith O'dor at Silverstone and when he got a wheel on the grass at Thruxton and slammed into the club chicane barrier at around 150 mph!

If you mean wild as in spectacular, then it has to be Tarquini.

If you mean wild as in always being involved in something, then how about Nigel Mansell in 1998, imagine what it would have been like if he was there the whole season.

Suprised nobody's mentioned Phil Bennett. He was a bit of a basketcase on a few occasions in 2001.

Paul Radisich was always fun to watch when he was in the middle of the field. but the best must be yvan muller sliding about all over the place but there are many to chose from.

Jason plato wins this one. in 2001 he could not take muller beating him so he always tryed to put muller out of the race. Plato is a good driver he just needs to calm down and he would get a drive for 2002.

Yes- Spectacular and exciting to watch, much like Tarquini.

I agree that Phil Bennett has been very wild on occasion this year, but he's mostly returning the opposition a favor.

That crash was a bad one, and Thompson was rightly disqualifyed. Plato could have easily hit the barriers and rebound back towards the track and be hit by another car. It could have been very much worse.

Frank sytner was a looney!!! you wouldn't want him behind you on the M25!!

I think that most drivers have some days where they go beserk, like Bennett at croft last year, or Soper and Cleland in 1992 last round to mention a few.

In my mind Plato gets it. Sometimes he can be very agresive on the track. I belive mike even comented on that on Driven once.

Sorry to drag this old topic up, but I couldn't let this go by.

After calling Eugene wild - I was reading a Touring car book, by John Tipler. And it said that Eugene O'brien got the nickname, 'General Accident'.
