It was a accident. We can let it go now and be thankfull it was not us driving the car that killed a great. That would be worse than jail to me.

Thanks Guys, read it on the back page of the paper today. The guy was obviously negligent on an "open" section of road.

He took out an absolute credit to New Zealand and his adopted playground of Australia.

The world sucks sometimes - I hope you Kiwis remind the fella of the atrocious thing he did at every opportunity and for the rest of his life

As a kiwi who grew up in Pukekohe with Possum and knew him as a personal friend (I am now living on Gold Coast)I think his family would be happy to let everyone on whatever forum know the outcome.
You say that those interested would be watching the other link - well where is the notification of the verdict there. I didn't go past the first page but it wasn't there.
I follow Possums team still in rallying and have been following the official site for information relevant.
I have not read a newspaper all week so did not know and was happy to read it right here which was the first place I looked this morning for my motor racing fix before going to Rally.com.

I must say..

It was a terrible accident, the driver didn't intend to take out anyone, including Possum. He was negligent, yes, but at the end of the day it was an accident.

The main thing out of this is that I will never forget the Poss and I still remember when he came across to the UK for the 87 RAC and was interviewed by Tony Mason which I still have on video

Gone but not Forgotten
