SALEEN S7R of course - as its the fastest. Well it is when it has 2 decent drivers it is. Not 1 Pro and 1 Gentleman driver. If u had say Oliver Gavin, Terry Borcheller, Walter Lechnr JNR I think that they would easily win LM GTS class - providing the cars restrictors were removed which they dont run with in FIA GT.

Lamborghini-R-GT
This will be the car to have for the GT Supercar showdown. 475K usd and more Audi than some realise. Besides, my friend Woodrow gets very excited when he sees it! |

yeah but remember there are no porsches in the FIA GT class or ALMS GTS class, there was that occasional entry last year from PSI Motorsport with their GT2 based car but i haven't seen them at all this year in the FIA GT

But u never said it has to be a car from the list did u. Personally I dont see a problem with GFM's choice, if u wanted people to only vote from the cars listed above u should have said so. U didnt so really his choice is up to him.

C5R is my favorite, but I have soft spots for Saleen and the exquisitely built Prodrive 550(especially after I saw it at Mosport..)....

You'll almost certainly see a GT class Porsche at Monza - It looks like being the swansong appearance for the old 911GT2
As for my favourite - I love the look of the new Lambo but have a soft spot for the Lister, the only car to bring a fight to ORECA's Vipers and still up there in the hunt. |

Viper. after that it would have to be the Viper. and then maybe the Zonda, followed by Viper, Viper, Lamborghini, Viper, and then everything except the vette in descending alphanumeric order...

The Monza 1000km is next year, I think Graham was reffering to the final round of the FIA GT series at Monza, correct Graham? And as Proton competition have already said they plan to run their old Porsche GT2 car later in the year this seems the most likely car and race for them to enter the car in I would think, as well as entering the new Porsche 911 GT3RS.

autocar this week has a test of the koenigsegg, and class comparisons with the ferrari enzo, mercedes slr mclaren, porsche carrera gt, lamborghini murcielago and pagani zonda.
theres a potentially interesting gts line-up at le mans in a couple of years! |
