pink69 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Dumbreck out!

Peter Dumbreck is almost certain to be leaving the Mercedes DTM team this winter. Mercedes are planning to reduce their assault to 8 cars for Schneider, Alesi, Fassler, Alzen, Jager and Mucke. Bernd Maylander is almost certain for a seat too leaving just 1 for Albers, Huisman and Dumbreck to fight over. Dumbreck has said nothing about possible routes for him next.

MB is cutting back already? OTOH, if a privateer steps up to run the cars, the car count will still remain the same? It would be nice to have some privateers step up again. Is ProMarkt sponsoring cars in any other series?

I think Merc should keep Patrick Huisman...he's an excellent driver. Why are they keeping Jager and Mucke??? They're ok but are they anything exceptional?

muecke should be kept! he´s a really talented driver, and he deserves at least a second year!

about jäger: well, you´re right, he´s a solid driver but not exceptional...

Apprently Dumbreck will test for Opel at Vallelunga this week with Soheil Ayari and Sebastian Bourdais. He could be the replacement for Olivier perhaps!......

Panis seemed to do okay in the Opel? Call me silly, but I think having a reasonably ex-F1 driver in the series is a good thing.

Panis? What are you talking about? Pink69 was referring to Yves Olivier, the Opel driver not Olivier Panis the F1 driver.
