VMRC @ Winton - August 4 & 5
Someone had to start the discussion on it, so it might as well be me.
The next round of the VMRC will be at Winton on August 4 & 5, be there or be square! |

well, on to the serious stuff now, should be a good event, two lots of sports sedans with the over and under 2 litre guys running, improved proddies, HQs, TTs and Formula Vee from memory. Hopefully a good weekend is in store for us making the trek north.
As a general warning for those heading north up the hume, be careful of the "time lapse" photography between Somerton and Broadford, not to mention the other active Policing of the road as the ski season is well and truly underway (with real snow at all fields - much better than the last couple of years). |

Further to dmcl's warning about the Hume remember that 25 over the State Speed limit is licence loss territory.
You notice I said State Limit, it applies to 100km/h not 110 on the Hume or other freeways where we are allowed to exceed the 100km/h State Limit. So go over 125 and get caught and you can kiss your piece of plastic goodbye. |

Its been some time since I've been north.....Tell me, as you travel past seymour, just near pucka...and you can see the drive-in screen to your left.....There's a bridge.....and a bunch of trees that can conceal a cop car.
Do they still hide in there or are they busy eating donuts as the cameras do all the work? |
