Slick tyre pressures

What hot tyre pressure gives the best grip for what brand of tyres ?
I run on 300/680 R18 michelin ex porsche cup tyres & make sure they are @ 30 psi when hot & of coarse work backwards from this this to get my cold starting temps.
But some say 32 hot & others 28 hot ?
I can rarely afford to go testing so normally adjust tyres to exactly 30 during my 20 mins qually for the race
Car is 1500 kgs & lots of bhp
What does everyone else think best hot slick pressures are ?

Cheers Andy

We have settled on 31psi hot for the moment. Need to do another 'swing' once the rear suspension issues are sorted out (and I have an engine!).

Talk to Michelin's competition tyres department. In my experience most tyre companies are more than willing to give their opinion.

Yes not much to add. That info is going to be best
Coming from the Motorsport agents for the tyres you're running I think.

They have always been keen with info on temps and pressures in my experience and will advise based on your car.

The trouble with asking in here is its unlikely to be official data, rather very subjective answers based on different cars and applications to yours.
