Insurance whilst working for a raceteam in USA

Hi,

Wasn't sure where to post this, but hopefully someone that reads this forum will have been in the same postion....

I need to get some insurance incase of injury / illness on a upcoming trip to the USA working for a week as pitcrew. I've got a couple of quotes but none make any mention of being covered whilst working, does anyone know if these polices will cover me, or do I need a specific 'working' policy. If so can anyone recommend where to look.

(I'll be working out there on a self-employed basis for a UK firm)

Cheers

I would start by asking if the team you'll be working for should or will provide employers liability insurance.

I'm not banking on it! So don't want to risk it....

Don't forget that if you're working abroad you'll need a visa... It's not just a holiday.
