Reid and Rydell at an endurance race at Buenos Aires

The Turismo Competición 2000, aka TC2000, one of the most important touring cars categories in Argentina, scheduled a two-hour race in the Autódromo of Buenos Aires next October 31st, one week after the F1 Grand Prix of Brazil.
In this race, the regular drivers will share their cars with drivers invited from other categories. Mostly of them will be local drivers, but are expected to race important touring car drivers of other countries.
Two weeks ago, Victor Rosso, director of Honda Racing Petrobras team of TC2000, said that Anthony Reid, currently 3rd in the BTCC, and Rickard Rydell, who is in the ETCC, accepted the invitations of this team to race in the megarace scheduled at Buenos Aires. Honda Racing is one of the leading TC2000 teams, despite is struggling in the fight for the title.
Brazilian Carlos "Cacá" Bueno, who raced TC2000 some years ago, is also expected to enter this race, probably with EF Peugeot team. There are other drivers rumoured to be invited at the race, like Ricardo Zonta, but for the moment the three named are the most probable to be in.
This race can attract more interest for foreign drivers because they can use this race as a "test" for the World Touring Car Championship race scheduled at Buenos Aires next year.

Reid, Rydell and Bueno, all three will be at TC2000 at Buenos Aires next October 31st sharing the three cars of Honda Racing Petrobras team with regular drivers Juan Manuel Silva, MartÃ*n Basso and Fabián Yannantuoni.
