Crazy Marshal should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Anglesey 8th & 9th July

...So who's going?
I not it's not this weekend but i'm quite excited about it!
it will only be my 3rd weekend marshalling this yr...and after being bitten by the "anglesey bug" last yr i can't wait to be back for another weekend!
Has anyone got any idea about what's racing?
Look forward to seeing you!
Katie

I'll be there for both days. As my last two meetings on the island were wet I hope that this one will be dry (the weather that is and not the beer!)

Hi,

The Caterham graduates series are out at Anglesey on the 8th & 9th July, and I believe the 2cv's may be there as well.

We will be camping from Weds eve (Thurs - trackday, Fri - testing, Sat/Sun, practice/racing) to Mon morning, so come and say hello, Caterham Grads #77.

Cheers
Daren

If I remember rightly: Caterham Graduates & 2CVs making a return to the island; plus NW Sports & Saloons, Welsh Sports & Saloons, and I think Toyo Mod Prods, but can't remember about the latter...

Oh, and yes, I'll be there, first Oulton meeting* of the season.

*Well, Oulton on holiday...

my instructions came this morning - 2 classes of caterhams, mod prods, various sports / saloons and 2CVs, their race on sunday being a 1hr enduro. Should be interesting, and i note there is a church break on Sunday too (14-15.15). The only dilemma i have is wether or not i can get home in time for the world cup final. Rough guess is a 5.30 finish, which might allow me to see the 2nd half. At least the roads will be quiet!

I've just looked at the timetable and saw the church break (at least we know about it this year - not like last year!)

Why don't BARC NW bring races forward and then we can have our lunch break during the church service break. Due to the late start of the days activities, having a later lunch break should not cause too many grumbles amongst the marshals. I reckon that races 11, 12 and 13 could all be brought forward and ran before the church service. That way all races would be completed around 17:00 which means heptatic (amongst others) would just about get back home for kick off!

If any off BARC NW head honchos read this, please give it a bit of thought!

I suggested that but was told the marshals would want a midday lunch break - why not give BARC NW a call?

...and there's 3 classes of Caterhams

Is anyone likely to be passing by the Travelodge at Bangor on Saturday or Sunday (Or Both) morning and able to give me a lift into the track please?

Bit of a rush trying to get 2 little 'uns and the Missus all ready first thing in a morning!

The family and I will be there again, as I missed the Legends earlier in the year I thought this would be an ideal meeting for the annual pilgrimage to the island.

Marshalling Sat/Sun, hope to arrive Thursday PM and leave Monday AM, then straight off for a weeks holiday to leek. I have tried to contact Arthur Hughes to see if its okay to stay the Thursday/Sunday night, I believe Thursday will not be a problem but just want to confirm Sunday nights is okay.

See you all there!
