Lifelock 400 - Michigan Thread
Wow, no thread yet?
Championship points make the grid - so the Busch baby gets pole. Raines & Leffler fail to make the cut on points. Carpentier squeezes into last in the Lifelock sponsored car. Rain was mentioned as a possible return for a race stopper. |

I signed up for the Full Nascar online Monty.. the trial worked for two weeks.. then once they'd taken the money it stopped working.. 2 weeks of customer service later and I was told that the online streaming wasn't available in Europe.. in fact it wouldn't even work in Europe! ... I was given a temp. password during the customer service period, this worked in Europe too..
I got a refund, but I miss it, following one car and it's spotter makes the races way more fun.. |

Try a radio station that covers NASCAR cup races and click "listen live". Here is one from Pennsylvania. http://www.wzzo.com/main.html

Yeah. Not exactly an amazing drive - as much as I'd consider the slowest driving possible to win racing, but everything seemed to fall his way. It's nice to have someone new win these from time to time
Shame for Carpentier, he was running extremely well until that incident at the end there - starting last and I think was about 15th. If that yellow hadn't come - would have more fun to see if Kenseth could have taken it - inspite of the officials blocking his pit exits! |

it is amazing that Tony Jr had that strategy and Dale Jr was able to implement it much like Jimmy J and countless of others have done. "ugly" wins count the same as pretty wins. knowing what to do in those situations doesn't make you an amazing racecar driving, just a disent one, i guess.
if matt had not lifted for the official, that would have really made the highlight reels. i think he was slowed more by AJ's car in the pitbox in front of him rather than by a slow moving, heavy set NASCAR official. |

I am not a big fan of Jr. but it is good to see him win again.

Do you think we would've had a different result if someone else instead of Dale Jr was speeding up past the pace car then turning the engine off to save fuel??
