BRSCC Mallory March 26th

A heartfelt Thank You to one & all, without the 1st class team work shown by everybody today, a lot of drivers would have gone home not having raced, when everyone pulls together it just shows what can be achieved.
Thank you, very, very much.

Hi there had a great day's racing, some were quite close races. Didn't have too much too do. I was impressed with the VSR V6 Silhouettes.

There was only 1 car in the class! The Silhouettes WERE good - hope to see more appear for the coming rounds!

Good day at post 1 too - and no-one came to play, which looking at the tyres tracks in the grass was a surprise in the changeable conditions.

He was taken to hospital with bruising to his back, I haven't heard anything as a follow-up to that. If I find anything out it will be on the FF1600 site.

Glad to hear he's going to be ok.

Well done to the rescue crew as well - it might seem OTT and delaying the meeting at the time to remove someone from a car with boards etc when they 'seem' to only have bruising; this again shows why you have to do it by the book- let the x-rays/scans etc at hospital give the all-clear or 'fracture' diagnosis.

Cracking days racing but I think they need less pork pies and more brushes on the hairpin!

My pork pie stayed in my bag - every time I thought about a piece, the rescue unit got scrambled. I'd only taken said pie to establish if I was afflicted with 'the curse'. I'm either gone for good, or it's coincidence...
