Old Hairpin should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Gronholm And Makinen Dominate 2002

My moneys on Marcus or Tommi to win title next year.

Tough to call. I think Marcus & Tommi's chances will be affected by where Richard Burns ends up, but I must admit to looking forward to seeing Tommi in the Impreza.

Also I wouldn't rule out Colin; another year's development on the Focus + the desire to take the title from Burns ought to be a potent combination.

And who knows how the Mitsubishis will run once their teething troubles are ironed out

Whoever wins, it's shaping up to be a great year.

It's hard to predict anything, because of mitsubishi evo VII.
Evo VI gave everybody hard time this year, and according to the tests VII is gonna be significatly faster.
On 20 km road it was 1 second faster than VI, so it might be really something.

2002 title will be decided between Burns, Gornholm, Makinen and Rovanpera.

ljakse: why u talkling about the Mitsubishi evo????

The Mitsubishi Lancer WRC will be better in 2002. Both A.McRae and Delecour have tested it and like the car.

'Coz the whole idea of making evo VII in different meassures was to make it 'fit' for WRC. I'm not saying they ARE going to race with it, but that was the intention.
