FF1600 Black Dog at Oulton
Hugh has said that so far there are 36 cars booked in for testing,It has to be on the long circuit as there are too many cars to test on Fosters.
In the afternoon we may get the chance to test on Fosters but it would have to be split into sessions, but only if most drivers agree to it. He needs to know before hand so that it can be arranged so what do you think? |

Glad it's on the full circuit as I won't get in the way too much (bedding a fresh engine in). Not really bothered how we go about it, just could do with the track time........

I prefer the long circuit to drive round, but because fosters is the track we will be racing on I think it would make sense to have some track time on the fosters circuit. I have different things to test, and fosters allows quick comparisons as i know a definate benchmark time for myself as i have driven it umpteen times. I have got times for international too, but I can't see the point in bombing round the international all day getting a setting that is quickest for that circuit, when we aint even racing on it this year!
It is more fun though! |

I agree with 50-Six :I think to test all day on the full circuit whilst enjoyable would be fairly pointless as we're not using it this year
So, I think it would be ideal if we had our time on the full circuit in the morning and then maybe Fosters in the afternoon. Or the other way around? I'm easy either way. At least on the short circuit you have smaller margin of error for fuel............never my strong point |

Full circuit please as we will be racing on it during the season and with 36 cars out it is a lot less traffic to contend with.

Which club are you racing with that uses the 'proper circuit' and when? I know you race Monoposto 2000 in a 1997 Tatuus, but that can race in a couple of series I believe. If FF1600s are eligible, you may get an influx of NW drivers at your Oulton round(s) |

Which is why the Classic FFs all want to race solely with BARC as oppsoed to the joint BARC/BRSCC..

Only six days to go for the Oulton test I can not wait looking at next weeks weather report we should have a bit of rain through out the day.
Jase I think that my car is eligable for HSCC as it is a pre 72 (2072). |

Will let you know if we can send it "live" in the morning as i have been out the office for 2 weeks so not sure on the progress. It will be live before the SOM Donington race in any case.
Do we have a list of who is testing on Friday? |

Tow bar going on new car tomorrow. Moose Unit will be in attendance, assuming it is still in Nick Jardine's yard. I haven't seen it since last October. Do you think the milk will still be OK?
