Hi , Can anyone out there possibly help ?
we are running a swift at donnington on saturday in F4 and after a distaterous testing at snett last week we are seeking advice to help cure the handling problems that we experianced. I am a complete novice and this is the our first race car. Any ideas other than TAKE UP KNITTING!! |

do you have the instruction manual for the swift, if so set it to the standard settings they will be a good starting point, also make sure the corner weighs are correct.
also what problems are you having? handling problems can be alot of things Last edited by GolddustMini; 15 Mar 2004 at 19:56. |

Get someone to come to the circuit with you, who Knows what to do and can drive, the best value for money you will spend, you will get loads of people telling you what to do ,check out their cars first.
Mattray would be worth asking if he can spare the time. |

where are you from g hall? would be beteer to get someone to look over the car before it goes's anywhere near the track again! get it on a flat pack, and go through everything, with the tape measure check from side to side, and to the book!
and ps what are the shockers like? have had loads of hadeling problems caused by crappy shocks! really is worth getting them recon'd! |

If it is any consolation the 750MC is very friendly and there will be lots of people who will lend a hand. Fear not, handling problems are all part of the fun.

If Barry Pomfret is there ask him to have a look, he knows what he's on with.
Is this a blue 96 by any chance? |

You don't want any wheels by any chance do you? I've got 8 sets for Swift Zetecs and would love to sell some alloys and some Wellers cheap...
Also rear suspension. |
