josvandeperre should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Montlhery June 19 20

Does anyone know anything about this other than that it is the last ever event there - I've emailed the organisers as their site is down but no news yet - are Julius's chaps there perhaps ?

Julius is there with Top hat, Cloth Cap etc.. Carol Spagg is there with Gentlemen Drivers and I think the Sports Racers series and Jonathan Baker's Group 4 Racing is there, sadly I wont! I gather its a bumpy circuit an dnot one for delicate cars!

I had a response from the organisers but haven't had any contact since March 1.
Julius didn't reply to my emails requesting info.
Try faxing Alain COUDERT at +33145111112

Bishop Ranter should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I spoke with Quentin Potherat at Rayon D'Action and paperwork should be released shortly. There should also be a race for pre-war sports-cars and a F3 1000cc and rear engined Formula Junior race. Rumour has it that there will be ademo of Porsche 917s and the like!

Contact details are:
Rayon d'Action
35 bis avenue Diderot
94100 Saint Maur
phone: 01 45 111 111
fax: 01 45 111 112

Hope this helps in addition to Paul's contact, Alain at Rayon D'Action.

Alas due to two engine rebuilds I have had to pull out of the continental tour that would have taken in this and Charade.

Glad to hear you're pretty much sorted - blagging apart!

Lunch would be good, if we're not out frantically snapping the last ever... I reckon this'll be a higher work rate than any event i've done yet

I'll be having lunch I think - no snapping - just soaking up the atmosphere and writing about it!

Is it really the last ever meeting? I went two years ago, and it was one of the most atmospheric meetings I've ever attended. Be a terrible shame not to use the venue again.

I don't have the details to hand, as I'm at work
However, I did sign an online petition about six months ago, and I think a link has been posted in this forum
