Pete Howarth should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Help, Cadwell Park 4th July 04

I need your help, BRSCC Northern centre are holding their first race meeting of the year at Cadwell Park on Sunday 4th July 2004.

We are short of marshals for this meeting, and require marshals of all grades (inc. Trainee’s) for all duties.

I appreciate that there are a large number of events scheduled for this date, and most of you will have already volunteered your services. If you are free and can manage another day’s marshalling, I’m appealing for your help. If you are free and can help please let me know.

Pete Howarth – BRSCC (Northern) Chief Marshal

I 'may' be able to help out. I'm elsewhere the day before, but just need to convince 'she who must be obeyed' that i 'need' to be out both days that weekend.

Pete, I'll be there (been practising my heckling, thinking of doing a double act with Micky.H).

Just don't put me down for too many jobs!

I might be able to be there, if you'll accept an American. I have to check the work schedule so I'll let you know early next week.

Can I wear white? Or do you require orange?

I'll bring my whites and have an orange vest type thing as well, assuming I can make it.

Pete,I'll be wearing my greens if thats OK with you sir.
(To be honest I'll be wearing them even if you say no but felt I should ask.) Only problem is don't think we will have any spare crew to go on the bank for you.

Steve,

Just putting this at the top until it becomes 'a hot topic'.

I dont want to be running on my own for this meeting, especially if the Jedi's performed like they did at Croft early in the year (post 5 became a car park - but excellent racing from them).

Pete,
Yes, I will be available for this now, possibly +1. If you can arrange a couple of extra passes I'd appreciate it, and try and drum up some more volunteers.

....Micky H, surely us jedi bhoys were not that bad at croft!!!?? It was worse at Brands as Stephen Green will tell you! And anyway, there wont be 30 cars at croft, just 28! Hope you get enough marshalls as Cadwell is the best track in the UK and it was cancelled last year due to "lack of marshalls"!

Pete,

For 11 years I've been meaning to go to Cadwell and never got round to it! Seeing as I probably won't be doing Anglesey now on that weekend, this now looks like it could become reality!

What's Racing?
Where is good to stay (B&B)

Can you make use of an Observer?
