What was his (hilarious) dance all about at the end of the race?

The commentators here said that it was the "monkey dance" and that he had done a kangoroo dance in Australia (I didn't see that other one though).
I would suggest that he sticks to motor racing. Last edited by Louis B.; 15 May 2006 at 15:20. |

I think you have to be Spanish to see the funny side .... do we have any Spainish contributors who could enlighten the rest of us on this strange ritual ... looked like he was thanking the great bull god or something...

I wonder if he was imitating the BAR crew stomping around their inept car.

I think Fernando has had enough references to bulls with his celebrations this year, after the Bahrain fiasco!

In Australia he was doing an impression of the grinch (Jim Carey) as part of a bet with mates.
This time, god only knows - those crazy europeans.... |

I thought it might be in reference to getting the monkey off his back by winning his home grand prix.

I've no idea what the hell was that about. I saw it on the TV screens at the track. His movement seemed like someone carrying something, but I haven't the feintest idea of what he's on now...
