Congratulations to Ferrari for another 1-2 finish
Fantastic drives by both Ruben and Michael.
I believe we've ran out of superlatives for the Ferrari team this year. Simply amazing! Too bad Kimi wasn't in the running of this race. Would have split the 1-2, maybe. |

...although the weather again played in favor of the Red corner...
Anyway, Fantastic race for them... |

What we seen today from Ferrari is the 100% reason why they are world champions. It was a display of how far ahead they are in performance to the rest of the field.

Another great effort from the team showing that they are a class above the rest of the field.

They are such a complete team, with no weak area's to be found anywhere. Total and complete proffessionals.
It seems as though Michael and the boys can win as long as they care to! |

Impressive, race from Ferrari. Start off shakily, but thank god they did not give up, nor did they let their fans down.
Really nice one-two there, beating the pretenders to the weeds. |

well done Ferrari!......yes, once again they showed why they are the class of the field....i thought the italian tv coverage was terrible though, they cut away just after pizzonia and coulthard came together......and that was just one of their gaffes.....

Yes, congratulations to them. It was refreshing seeing a Barrichello victory instead of another run-of-the-mill TGF win.
The Norwegian commentator said it was the first time Ferrari had finished 1-2 at Monza - is this true? I haven't had time to check the record books. |

And Gerhard Berger and Michele Alboreto certainly finished 1-2 in 1988.

Hmm... maybe I misheard the commentators? One thing is clear, my memory isn't what it used to be.

A most impressive result as both drivers gained positions not only in the pits, but on the track. Good old Jenson is probably still wondering what happened to his "victory."

The same result as this year was also achieved in 2002.
Indeed, Ferrari opponents cannot argue today. Michael down to 16th, or possibly last depending on whom you listen to, I remember it being 16th though, due to the first lap. Rubens down the feild after the first few laps. THey worked their way through te field, in the process well and truly earning the 1-2. Opponents cannot whinge today. As regards the claim that the weather played into teh hands of Ferrari today. In a sense later on it did, with the greener track and so on. However, to claim that to start the race with those particular conditions is of a great benefit to Bridgestone tyres I could not possibly agree with. |
