Retirement

I am sorry to say that after a lot of happy & memorable years I have decided on Medical advice to retire. I would like to say thank you to all the people I have had the pleasure of working with over a span of 30+ years. I will still be coming to a few meetings (Me & My trusty cameras) so I hope to not lose contact with everyone

THANKS GUYS!!!!

Bugger!

Ian, I'm so very sorry that you have to retire - we need people like you.

I would like to say that over the years I've really enjoyed working with you. Always cheery, always willing to take on any task that you were asked to do. A brilliant pit marshal and a wonderful friend.

Lots of love to my honorary "Dad".

Sheila

From the 'original' Ian Smith who had to register as Diz when his name had already been registered - Good luck in the future mate.

Ian, every best wish for your retirement. It's always sad when someone has to retire from marshalling, for whatever reason. Stay safe and enjoy life from the other side of the fence. Just think, now you get a lunch break!
