Na, Stuart was just doing his 'Rally Cross' driving to get out the way, Russel to the Pit lane on the grass as the pack came round to lap him
The final was, er, manic.... I think the crowd we had behind us enjoyed it

Brought a couple of first time spectators along, I think they're now hooked, and the eldest daughter is wanting to play in Saxmax - she's got to wait four years though!

Hope everyone involved in the incidents over the weekend have nothing more than a few dented panels, and that the Locost teams learn how to put on wheels

Mal, I wasn't at the scene, but good to know everyone is OK - Aaron's car certainly looked a mess. Hopefully see him back out to play next year!

Anybody know what happened down there? I was up at Esses, and all I heard were the radio calls, and later on when Peter said they'd all been released from the med centre.

I had a chat with the guy this happened to. When they torqued up the wheel, it was caught on a lip on the hub - so after a couple of laps it fell off the lip, all the nuts were then loose, they then decided to undo thenselves and hey presto - off comes the wheel.

The guy did say the marshalls had amazingly found all the wheel nuts - is that true????!!!!

Well done to everyone involved in this meeting, 21 races over the 2 days and 2 sensible finishing times - the racing wasn't to bad either.

Have to agree with the fat clerk.

Was watching the stock hatch final from russell's. Was waiting for the thud but nothing happened.

Having said that Lee Scott in the orange xr2i did keep the crowd entertained with some 4 wheel flying!!

Even the locost's wer'nt short of action!!

Nonsense! By 750 standards it was apalling! With the 750 running the show, it's not uncommon to finish half an hour before you start I think we actually finished a few minutes late (wasn't really watching the time).

Srsly though, 'twas all good, as usual, even with the white fluffy stuff you can't see through, some reds, and the full lap oil. I was also very happy to hear Peter insisting that marshals just stick some dust on the oil and then bugger off to lunch, and to leave the sweeper to brush it all in - good work fella - it's that sorta thing that'll ensure I sign up for plenty more 750 action next season

In the SAXMAX race a few people got out of shape and others had to avoid them and then that ended in people hitting into others etc etc and aaron and patrick mason were in the middle of that and i had no where else to go and just went straight into mason.

Lost 3rd place in the championship because of it all too, all i needed was a finish. I'm keeping my language in this very very clean but i can honestly say i have never been so gutted/angry in all my life!

Apologies to all the marshals that i possibly screamed at!!
