Thanks Patrick.I was just wondering the other day about a baby LMP GTP
Now how about ideas for one.. naturally a judd engine anyway or maybe something else.. Any other ideas? bf1 |

Oh dear no all though its agood idea i would rather see something that looks like a LMP GTP not one of those disproportioned things

It's already a big weight problem on a 900 car. Although 750 isn't as bad as 675, I think it'd be hard to get such a car to the weight limit, or at least get enough ballast in, and it'd really mess up the CoG. Besides which, there's more frontal area, which would seem rather important in lower horsepower cars. It seems to me that LMP-2 hangs closer to drag on the downforce/efficency/drag scale than an LMP-1.

I doubt the DP would be compeitive in P2 and it also has the hurdle of crash testing by the ACO.

DP are to low to be legal in LMP2. DP's run a 1.5" ground clearance with a flat underbody. LMP2 ground clearance must be 3"(wild guess) along the sides and they have to run a concave underbody to hopefully keep them from flying...
