Ant West in Hospital
Just heard on the Radio that Ant West took a heavy tumble in qualifying today and has been airlifted to hospital.
i noticed he was down in 20th on the time sheets and wondered what the problem could have been and now I know. im not sure about any injuries at this time. I certainly hope that he is ok. |

apparently Ant's dad has reported that Ant is OK , but has been taken to hospital for check ups but is apparently OK and should be back on the bike tomorrow.

Just read that he's okay, but has suffered severe bruising and a wrist injury.

Lucky Boy!
I saw the footage a few times, very very high speed "get off". I don't really recall ever seeing anyone slide tumble roll so far into a sand trap that far before....best of luck with the recovery Anthony
