smithhehehaha should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
2018 FIA GT World Cup

Only 15 entries going for the GT World Cup race in Macau, due to the Nation Cup I think? But we can see multiple Macau winning racers and 5 manufacturers are competing for this year's race.

This race excites me every year until I remember how pointless the circuit is.

This format, at a real circuit, please

Actually less cars is better for this circuit. No point in having 30-40 cars at the start when things like last year happen.

This is my thoughts too. I'm glad that it's struggling as it may force a move to a better track.

How great would be a 15 car grid race at Sochi or Dubai...

Actually there are about 30 entries for the GT Cup before being a FIA World Cup race.

36 was the grid maximum. Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.

I can’t say anything that hasn’t been said before. Feel sorry for Vanthoor though, another big crash.

Ok I saw the world cup races and it was not exciting at all if you are not into watching GT cars run around. No passing. So you either get multi million dollars in damaged cars or a parade. The only change of position the whole race was when Marcellano had his off.

This track stinks. Get GT cars out of there.

No Ferrari, no Aston Martin, no Corvette and no Ford. They are all racing in Shanghai WEC race instead.

They call this a World Cup just to get promoter's fee from Macau govt. You brand something a World Cup and the Macau govt sucks it up.

Small grid size could also be a consequence of the absolute carnage that happens every year. No one other than those who supply carbon fibre could think it’s a good thing.

Very true. Cause Corvette and Ford have GT3 cars, right?

I wonder if Macau would work better as a time attack event.

What would be the point to those who every year pay a ticket for Lisboa corner?
