Grand Am reinforce rules on Doran DP
Lets see, the Grand Am DP gimmick originally called for headlights and mirrors from the production car, and also "large" decals on the nose and engine cover.
Of course, this lead to a bit of a fiasco from Porsche, G/A backed down slightly on the actual naming of the car and for saftey reasons, the mirror rule was droped, but what of the sinage? Yes, at Daytona and Homestead the Doran Chevy was clearly in violation of this rule. However, it appears after Dark Dog left, the Bell team has now displayed "Chevrolet" sinage on the incredibly large windshield. |

That's all well and good, but I'm the Chevyguy, and I don't recognize those headlights.
