Nigel Mansells tyres.

Hello all,

Many years ago my brother gave me a present- a set of rear tyres from Nigel Mansells qualifying at the British GP - I cannot remember the year, may have been the year he won.

Anyway, they are just sitting in the garden getting dirty and perished. Are they worth anything? I don't have the certificate that they came with though - it's been lost (it has been quite some years!)

James

Heh, we've got a signed tire of of Dale Earnhardt's Lumina, from probably about 1991. I'm going to make that into a coffee table when I get my own place.

Sorry took so long to remember I had posted this thread!!

Hmm, Ebay maybe I guess. The lack of official provenance is a pain though. They will need a jolly good clean up, and probably a bit of tyre white for the lettering.

Not sure what they are worth though - anyone any ideas?

However, we're not an auction site and some of this might be better handled by PM.

I'll take some photos over the weekend, and post a link here - then people would know what they are getting, shoudl they wish to make bids etc.

Or perhaps I should just stick them on Ebay or something. I dunno...

James
