New Livery for SeaBass

Did any one see the new livery for Bourdais? The car is back in the Green and Gold run by Fittapaldi last year with the Cialis sponsorship. I believe that this is the drug similar to Viagra that was awaiting FDA approval (therefore not on the car until now). Has anyone heard anything regarding this? press releases?

here's a picture

here's another

Hmm...not to keen on that myself. I liked the McDonalds car better.

I preferred the black/white colour scheme he had earlier this year - looked quite good actually - and I don't like green.

Whatever the drug is, it probably has something to do with Lilly's, as they are still listed as the primary sponsor of the car. I didn't hear of any press releases either.

My vote goes to the MacDonald's car though. It's a big name sponsor and it's always nice to see a clown in the pits that's not in the Coyne garage!

Last year's Lilly livery looked awful....and so does this one, can't they use colours that don't resemble (or make you want to) vomit?

They're advertising a Lilly product that has not been approved by the FDA, but has been approved in Mexico. Thus the one-off sponsorship.

Did you hear TK's absolutely tasteless joke -- even for him -- about the product and Carl Haas? When will somebody stop him?

Liz, do you mean when TK said...."I wonder if Haas gets a rise from/out of Bourdais new sponsor."?

At least there wasn't orange in this livery.
You know, I thought Seb.'s driver's suit made him look like one of the Simple Green Safety Team.

I kind of did a double take on the "get a rise..." crack. What's next....cigar jokes?

i liked it but the Lilly advert group really needs some lessons in design and basic compposition and colour theory, no one livery was really striking, players being one of the nicest outthere and visteon...

TK is what makes the Speed/CBS presentations double the fun. His quick and sometimes tasteless humor is alright by me... in fact, I find him quite enjoyable!

The drug works for the same purposes as Viagra.

The car looks fine to me, it's way better than last year's Lilly car. And defenetely beats the original PK car. What those folks need is to make those logos bigger everycar has had really small logos.

I think the smaller logos are due to those rounded sidepods on the Lolas. It may make all the difference aerodynamically but it sucks when you're trying to put a big graphic on it.

I didn't hear the "get a rise'stuff, but there was a lot of Frog comments about the colour and stuff. I don't know. Not the nicest thing to say about a Frenchman.

Logos are sized in proportion to the check written.
