A good article DF!
It can't be easy retiring at the age of 36. In this day and age, thats relatively young in the sports world, especially as we see more and more athletes have there best days in there older years. It won't be easy for him to resist the offers that he's getting, there's always going to be a part of him that wants to race, and be one of the guys again. Good luck to Gil! |

In a few years he should come out and make some Sebring and Le Mans outings. Those two trophies would go nicely with his Indy triumph and CART titles!

I think that the memory of back concussion will be enough to keep him off the track.
And something makes me guess that, shouldn't it be enoigh, well, his wife will accomplish the job! |
