Glad you had a great trip. Come over in summer next time and catch the UK's best kept secret. Good club racing.

Does anyone know when The Donington Park Collection Museum is open over Christmas. They are not answering the phone and the website is a little vague

They were normally open every day except Christmas and New year but I would try to check before you go in case it changed.
A group of NWFF drivers went for a winter visit a few weeks ago, most had been before but still good fun. Try the "Turks Head" in Castle Donington, they have a Stewart GP car in the bar! |

Thanks for the information, I'll give them a ring in the morning of the day I go to check. At least I know it is likely now.
I've been a couple of times before. However I would really like to see the Auto Union. |

I think that is was only the very early 750kg class machines that were polished (due to weight), the later ones were painted.
Maybe someone else knows more details, or the real reason . It might be worth shipping this to the historic forum, but I'll leave it here for a bit... |

I found out the opening times! Theses were printed in the issue of Motorsport containing the Auto Union!
It was excellent (as I already knew). OK they weren't moving (normally I'm not too interested in static cars), but it was great to see so many amazing cars. I'll bang some pictures on my website soon. If anyone cares. |
