Bit of a toss-up for me. Ocon drove brilliantly and Gasly also finished in the points, Mercedes got fourth and fifth and fastest lap, RBR made an excellent call to keep Max out in the wet so strategically brilliant.
But I gave it to Mercedes. |

Putting aside Perez binning it in Q1
The team strategy and the car and max were unfaultable, giving max a fairly easy win (if any monaco win can be easy) |

Alpine for me. Great podium for Ocon and Gasly did OK too. Merc as runners up. Red Bull, no. They got it right for Max but having no real challenge from Alonso at Sainte Devote it was pretty much all over. As for Perez, a pretty disastrous weekend.

Alpine for quietly going about their business and a great turnaround from their previous attempts. Plus something of a token to give the interfering and highly unlikeable Laurent Rossi a sore backside.

For once we have someone speaking his truth… Happy that the Ligier years are long gone, this is a highly competitive environment and they have the budget, let them work or leave. I dont regret a boss speaking like a boss, so rare in any french company. His position is not to be liked, he wants the results. PS Voted for Alpine too…

Alpine. They've been knocking on the door for a while now, and Monaco saw them really step up a notch.

Mercedes, for moving both cars forward by the final race result. Aston Martin could've looked great if the Alonso call had worked out, but it didn't, so they didn't. Ferrari once again didn't seem to inspire confidence in one of their drivers in the strategy.

Merc could have done a bit better. Aston weren't really in a position to win on Sunday, so 2nd is a good result. I understand Ferrari's call in strategy, but it just didn't work out

Mercedes - just. They went forwards and got a better result than they were probably expecting (largely due to others woes it has to be said). Alpine did ok too. Red Bull were 50% impressive and 50% dismal - as were Aston Martin. Everyone else - meh.

Just a thought on Alpine - Gasly criticised the decision to put him earlier than planned and reckoned that cost him 4th. Don't know if that strategy cost them big like he thought, but you could rule them out for Team of the Grand Prix if you believe so.
