N2K3 Aero War Mod!!
this is a Rip roaring Stockcar mod from the 88 aero wars(when the teams and manufacturers started using air dams and sloped rear windows.)
and still blocky cars, fun to drive and easier than the new era Cup cars. so it is so fun to husttle them around roadcourses. (Riverside a california classic- and Norisring and circuit la sarthe he he) Here is Me in my MillerHigh Life car(a good swilling beer) at riverside tonight! |

I have this game and find it real easy to draught past on the exit of the corners on the ovals.
Would like to race elswhere le mans/bathurst etc They dont always leave you room though, AI seem to think that if you are on the inside they can move over on you and it always me who comes off worse |

isn't it the "touch" physics are soo sensitive, a spin happens for nothing at all, much like GPL.
but it is a Paptrus game. and after playing this and F1C this i by far a superior product i feel, the handling is more predictable, as there are audible cues to the cars behavior, and wheel response, F1C tends to have a heavy wheel (in the mods- so it may be a modder problem) and the cars give a visual slipping before the sound catches up...at least thats how i have found it, Papyrus really understands how to make sims over EA any rate. (although this is comparing diamonds to diamonds.) And should N2k3 be the mod for a Vintage Trans Am, versus the upcoming mod for F1C? seems like it wold have been a no brainer... |

I think the is very good overall and as you say most of my spins are self induced, but i can still make up the gap most of the time. Like GPL
you have to drive with a little caution, it pays to wait for the right moment to pass and not to rush into blind panic. If you wait a lap you can see where the overtaking opertunity comes and make it stick next lap. |
