1994 Ian Flux's Peugeot 405 entry

Trying to find information on Ian Flux's Peugeot 405 entry for the 1994 BTCC season with Halfords help. Are there any photos or sketches of what the car would have looked like. Or would it looked just the way as Ian raced the Peugeot in 1993 BTCC season. Any info would be great, thank you.

Alfa Fan has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
And reading what the OP actually posted is always useful too!

Ian Flux never appeared in 1994.

The only thing I can find is a colour drawing in the 1994 Media Guide. The car was to be run by Superpower Engineering. An all blue Pug 405.

Is that the one that James Thompson ran?

I never saw him out in the BTCC in 94.

At first sight, that seems unlikely, unless Thompson's deal to run the Pug in '94 came together after the Flux deal had fallen through

http://www.stillphotography.co.uk/ga...16_23.jpg.html

Could the intended Flux/Superpower car have been either one of the 1993 works cars, or the same car Roy Kennedy had run for Fluxie in '93 (originally a 1992 Peugeot UK chassis?)

What was the origin of the Thompson car? I'm fairly sure it's the one that went on to be used by Hamish Irvine in '95, but I'm not sure who raced it before Thompson- again, I'm guessing it was either one of the 1993 works Gravett/O'Brien pair, or possibly the ex-Flux car?

Something makes me think it was the ex-Flux car that Thompson used. It was indeed the same one that Hamish Irvine had. He collected it the day before the first meeting of 1995.

Yes, I definitely remember that Irvine had only taken delivery of the car the day before the '95 season-opener at Donington- As I remember, he raced the car still with the 1994-style standard front & rear spoiler, rather than the '95-style ST wing/splitter kit which didn't appear on the car until the second meeting or thereabouts. The car always kept the basic ex-Thompson blue/white colours, with the addition of 'SCB' logos, though the paintjob got a bit more elaborate as the season went on

Hamish and his 405 were always near the back, but do remember that great race he had with Richard Kaye Ford Mondeo in the wet at the Brands Hatch. The rain is a great leveller
