Nadine J Lewis should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
## Important - AWS overalls ##

I have been asked to post a thread on here by AWS.

Please note that overalls are being sent out first...........and the receipt will follow in the post.

Please do not therefore chase them for the receipt until a reasonable time has lapsed from receipt of overalls - this is causing them a few problems at the moment.

Many thanks for your co-operation

The System Works!

Finally got my new Probans last week and finding no paperwork enclosed I assumed that was the case , so I didn't bother chasing them and sure enough receipt turned up about a week after the overalls.

Now all I gotta do is mail the paperwork in to claim the rebate

Can I please draw attention to the latest instructions for claiming the overalls subsidy on the Regalia page of the BMMC Website.

Basically don't send anything to Sue Whitlock or email her until further notice.

Ah now thats useful, when i last looked the website said send to Eric and the PDF said send to Sue, i was wondering which was correct. (In the defence of the site, they both currently say send to Eric, and i was probably looking at an old PDF).

Can i suggest that the change of address/ person dealing with the refunds is made more apparent on the website? Bold/red perhaps, i know i'm hap hazard enough not to notice the change if it hadn't been pointed out.

Sorry for the confusion but everything is a bit fluid at the moment, Sue's continuing ill health has caught us on the hop. We are still trying to ensure we have covered all sources of contact to give Chris and Sue some breathing space.

I note your comments and will have a look at the website as soon as possible.

No worries, Eric. The important thing is to pass on the message to Sue that she shoudn't worry about us lot, just get well soon. Don't know what's up, and don't want to, but we're thinking of her.

Well i've had some excellent service from AWS. Ordered Monday lunch time last week, overalls (embroidered as well) arrived on the Thursday, and the receipt arrived today! Truely impressive service in my eyes. It fits well too.

Just out of interest how are they posted out? Royal Mail or courier. I received the receipt today but no overalls, if it's RM then I won't panic yet.

Surely the easiest way to find out that info is give Nick a call at AWS or drop him an email.

The reason I was asking was because the general consensus is that the receipt comes after the overalls and I wasn't sure if they'd called while I was out and not left a card. I think I have a reason to query where a pair of £50 overalls are given the chaos RM is in. I'm not going to let your response reflect badly on anyone else on here as the people I've met trackside have been brilliant, nor am I going to let your response put a dampener on the fantastic experiences I have had Marshalling so far.

Well said sparkybug, a mannerly reply to a not so mannerly post.

You are quite right to ask such a question and I hope your overalls arrive soon.

Remember, (and this applies to life "off the bank" as well) the only stupid question is the one not asked

Sorry mate, didn't mean to offend you, but how the hell do you expect a forum to sort out what's happening to your overalls, just phone AWS, ask for a shipping number, you'll probably even be able to track it via the shippers website, if you don't have any joy, then do the same as the rest of us, and wait for Postman Pat to put his toys back in the pram and get back to work.

I didn't ask the forum to sort it out, I asked how they were sent out. I have a response now so I think my participation on this particular thread is finished and my enthusiasm is still undampened.
