Melbourne till 2020
The ABC is running a story that Melbourne has re-signed for the AGP until 2020.
Victorian Premier Napthine said that the AGP will remain first event of the season. No figures released on the signing fee. No mention of any start time changes either. |

Is it my imagination or have quite a few tracks now signed up until about 2020. At the moment we don't have an Italian or German GP signed until then but most of the other regulars now seem to be signed.
Could this have anything to do with the potential sale of F1? |

highly unlikely. some tracks have 10 year agreements that come into play when their current agreements come to an end so there are races extending into the middle of the decade. Canada is an example so the new agreement (2016-2015) extends well beyond that date. |
