I thought that Daytona was 2.5 mile oval

Should be a good race. I'm not sure who I want to win it though.

Who I want to see as the winner: either Dale Jr., Stewart, Newman, Edwards or Hamlin.

Who I think will win: tough one, but I think it'll stand between Stewart, Jeff Gordon and Junior. Gordon in particular has been rather impressive so far during Speedweeks.

Yes the truck race is today and Mark Martin starts on pole, but the winner of the 500 will depend on whos car doesnt side around all day, and handles the different conditions of the race. Im hoping for a CHEVY driver!

who's hat to wear..?

I used to dip into NASCAR years back but dropped out for a long time. But the close drafting next to the wall has brought me back. Thanks to NASN's money grabbing I'm going with the Busch series on Motors.

Like most sports you get more back by following one or two and seeing things from their perspective. So the question is..

Who's the worthy underdog needing another person rooting for them?

Kirk Shelmadine

thats who my money is on

Ok maybe not but I hope he does really well.

watch Sterling marlin go I think he has the machine under him to win it again (after my brief viewing of the gatorade duels anyway)

I'd love to see Earnhardt Jr take it. I'm sure Sr would be proud to see "the boy do good" on the 5th anniversery.

I figured outn who I want to win. I'd like to see the #43 with Bobby Labonte in victory lane. It looks like the changes to the Petty organization over the winter have been positive so far with both of the cars being fairly competive looking.

Is there anyway I can listen/watch the race apart from satelite (which I don't have) or getting "Trackpass" which I don't have a Visa or Mastercard for?

It would be a shame to miss it.

How many advertbreaks do they get in the US!! I'd say from the NASN coverage it's about 1 every 6 minutes.
