Who's going to qualifying? Who's camping over? Who's going to race day?

If anyone who is going is going to pass Bristol, if they would be kind enough to drop in and I could hitch a lift with them that would be great, and for your trouble I would sort you out with some petrol money and if you need borrow a tent to camp over I could also do that!

if anyone fancies joining me after the btcc qualifying day i will give you a guided tour of the salisbury pub and club life if you like or can hack the pace!! - did you know salisbury has the most pubs in the smallest confined space in the country!!

I may well camp believe it or not if enough of you are up for it and the weather is good, will be good to meet up with ya all again!!

About time too, afraid there's not much contest is there?? Minis at Combe... unmissable.

What's on the Sunday, is it worth bothering with? A couple of races I presume?

Spoonerboro.. But would have been down with the pub crawl round Salisbury, if not a visit to the Chapel or that dive down Endless Street..

Trust you'll only be visiting Gibbs Mew pubs and spend the entire evening drinking Bishops Tipple?? Hangover sir?

Having lots of pubs in one small space is lethal!

A pub crawl offer is never usually turned away.

I'll be there And i'll be camping over too

Thanks for the offer Mr Spoon, but I think i'll give Salisbury on an evening a miss thanks... seem to recall having to run rather fast from a gang of squaddies last time we did it...! Think i'll stick in the nice sedate confines of the circuit and get p1shed there

So basically, if we get lashed up in Salisbury - how much of a walk is it back to the camp site? Or do we have to find some poor mug to drive us?

If someone is going from darn sarf I would love to go to Thruxton or Oulton Park.

I am DEFINITELY going to Snetterton for the night race though, and I'm sure I can fit Donington etc... in too over the summer. HURRAH!

No way is a long way when you are drunk and trying to get home. I learnt that during my time in Milton Keynes because the taxis are non-existent!

If you mean walking from Salisbury to Thruxton campsite yo are talking 15-20 miles. However, there is the alternative of going out in Andover, much worse than Salisbury but still a few good pubs here and there, and only a 4-5 mile walk to Thruxton.

That'll keep her away Craig
I'm on my annual (except for the last 2 years) Jolly Boys Outing to Weymouth that Weekend....this involves driving to Weymouth, getting drunk several times (suggesting there should be a sober bit)until Sunday and then a stop-over at Thruxton on Monday on the way back to see some more of me chums and watching MULLER!!!!! sideways thru Church.
P.S. I'm sure I already replied to this topic???!!!

Hi folks,

Just joined,

Found the forum whilst browsing for Thruxton pics.

Thruxton is my local and I go at every opportunity, I'll be there with my camera out on the banking on the Sunday and in the Club chicane Grandstand on the Monday with my mate.

Great circuit, shame about the access to the "outback".

See ya,

Cheers,

Fordy

Welcome Fordspeed.

If you want to meet up then you can either swap mobile phone numbers or just look out for the 10 Tenths caps with the logo on and a banner assuming it's ready in time Just come over and say hello.

I have no idea where I am watching from even though I have been there 3 times before, I've never quite found the spot that I wanted to stay at.

Invader, have you checked the clock setting in your Edit Options? doh! Weymouth? You certainly live the high life
