South Downs Stages - Goodwood 07/02/09
Bognor Regis & Southsea Motor Clubs
Proudly present the 5th running of The Towncross South Downs Stages at the delightful Goodwood Motor Racing Circuit. This is a small friendly event with a start time of first car at 0900 lunch 1200 – 1300 finish 1600hrs. There will be rewards for marshals on the day, together with a lunch break (we feed you) of at least 45 mins by the time you get from & to your post, with thanks to Marsh Plant. Other benefits are permanent toilets & food outlets, so a good way to introduce family and friends to motorsport. The Celica GT4 on the entry list is a really good looking car - we saw that up at millbrook earlier in the year (it goes quite well too )

Entry list looking good.
Could do with a few more confirmed marshals rather than the list of maybes. www.southdownsstages.co.uk |

Entry list full but taking reserves as last year I think about 4 got a run.
Going to be very tight at the front got to be worth a watch, FREE to get in, and you can walk all the way round, 2.42 miles.(in case your up for it Bert!!) As I said in my first post a good way to introduce family and friends to motorsport. |

Forgot to say apart from walking round, there is a very good view from on top of the pit lane.
If you are coming to watch even tho the sun will be shining there could still be the airfield draft. So wrap up warm, there aren't many places to hide from the draft. |

is the chicane car park being used again? that was quite interesting last year, although it was perhaps more like an autosolo then a rally!
its so annoying that there are 2 events on near us this weekend, then there wont be anything for a few weeks! |

Thank You marshals for your help on the event, think most got some sort of freebie, but all got fed.
See you all again next year for another day of fun in the sun. |
