2011 Stock Car Brasil...
Early years in the Stock Car is still changing, news, coming and going of pilots, many meetings and even off the track, the race continues. But this time the dispute is to secure a place on the grid of the 2011 season.There are 32 seats at stake and so far 18 are confirmed riders, another four are "essentially" agreed with just one detail or another to officially announce their teams and sponsors.
Since it is largely secured 22 seats, there are only ten spots to be played between the 15 pilots who participated in the Box Cup last year and have not set their targets for this year. Remember that in 2010, 37 different drivers have participated in at least one race of the season. Check out who is still with the uncertain future: Pedro Gomes, Felipe Maluhy, Christian Fittipaldi, Thiago Marques, Antonio Jorge Neto, Antonio Pizzonia, Betinho Gresse, William Starostik, Giuliano Losacco, Ricardo and Rodrigo Sperafico, Constantine, Jr., Gustavo Sondermann, Tarso Marques and Juliano Moro. |

Welcome to Ten Tenths, kurski! I hope that you spend a nice time here.
 This thread was meant to cover the Argentine TC2000 and a proposed Brazilian Manufacturers Championship, not the Stock Car Brasil, but nevermind, keep posting here! "Copa Caixa" is the sponspred title - Caixa is a finances company (not sure what exactly). Previously it was Nextel. I prefer to call it Stock Car Brasil, since it won't change. The first two rounds are swapped, so both the Stock car and the World Touring Car Championship will race on March 20 at Curitiba.

Calendar changed again. Not sure if I will attend this year because VICAR usually put the tickets for sale at a high price. Plus, the Manufacturers Championship schedule was released.

Kurski, I don't understand your question. The WTCC and Stock Car will share the March 20 weekend at Curitiba. If you wonder whether Stock Car drivers will also take part of the WTCC race, well, it could happen. José MarÃ*a López raced both at the TC2000 and FIA GT1 races at Potrero de los Funes last December.

 Brazilian Stock Car Series visits Autodromo Internacional Orlando Moura. Former F1 driver Luciano Burti won the race, which was his career second win Stock Car series. Allam Khodair was second and Ricardo Zonta tenth. |

This Interlagos race is called Race of the Millions, because the winner's prize is R$ 1 million (US$ 650k / € 450k).
