Vermeulen will surely be turning heads down the pit-lane with that pace. Second race in the series on a new bike and he's already put the thing on the front-row.
Shame I won't get to see the race or anything. |

Not quite as impressive as Rutter and Kiyonari in the UK though.
Rutter was quickest on Friday and Kiyo was right behind him, quicker than the Gixxers of Yukio and Reynolds and more impressively (especially for Kiyo) the 04 Duke of Emmett |

Must say I'm a bit bemused by BBC's coverage (or lack of it) for these races. Even if they can't put them in Grandstand on Sunday afternoon (because of their precious rugby), you'd think at least they'd be live. OK, I know you wouldn't get as many viewers getting up at 3am as watching highlights on Grandstand. But they'd get more viewers than for a (ridiculous) highlights show at 1am on Monday morning!!!! |

Went see BSB qualifying yesterday.
Kiyonari very impressive indeed on the Honda, both Honda's quickest through speedtraps aswell. Richards and Smart pretty good on the ZX10 aswell. Coxhell was spectacular to watch, spinning up his rear through Woodcote in great style but only 20th quickest |

Toseland seemed to struggle a little bit so far this weekend, but he can pick up solid points and should retain or even extend his cahmpionship lead - although not to Laconi, who looks like being the main rival.
A shame that Frankie still seems off the pac e- maybe race 1 will turn out to be a fluke, and this'll prove to be his last year. |

Well if Laconi keeps up this finishing rate, even if he wins every race he finishes he's gonna be nowhere in the final reckoning!

Bit of a lucky win for McCoy but great entertainment from the races!
4 different race winners in 4 races - that's as many as we had overall in 2003!!! 2004 is way better than last year, despite the controversy. We now have a championship!! |
