A bit confused... (.com before anyone else says it)

Ive just joined the BMMC and MSA although still waiting for my MSA number.
Who do I approach re training days? The BARC does them at Thruxton but Id prefer Brands Hatch.

Don't worry, there's plenty of time, as training days are held early in the year (January/February). There'll be plenty of information as to dates & venues available nearer the time.

You don't need to have done your training, just sign up for an event and tell your post chief it is your first day. I started this year, and the only regret is not starting earlier! Have fun.

That's the way to do it, but tell whoever is signing you on and doing allocation that you are new to this.

I had done 4 events before I done my first training day, to be fair, the vast majority of the training u will need and get is 'on the job' and anyone ur on post with would be more then happy to show u the ropes and answer any questions u will have
