National Race Calendars

Ok call me sad... there's only a few weeks until I usually get hold of them, but does anyone have any firm Combe / Thruxton dates for next year yet???

Or perhaps any other calendars have been published?

Hi Dan
We're still in discusion with BARC for suggested dates for the Classic Clubmans championship. However we do have some draft dates. I think as usual there will be a season opener at Thruxton for the Classic package, usually the week before Easter (whenever that is next year) and the championship finals day mid October. The dates should all be pretty well settled by the time the Autosport show gets here.

Looks like Classic Clubmans will not be at the Thruxton meeting but I'm pretty sure that will be the opening round.
Will CTCRC still run the 1 hour races next year ?

I hope so, the Pembrey event seems as much a permanent fixture as can be.

We've not heard anything yet though, I'm expecting to get news around Christmas time. We've not had any joy about dates yet, where has your classic package date info come from ? Could you post some draft dates ?

Sorry - not worth it yet. We have a number of dates we are discussing with BARC at the moment. We are trying to include some double headers so that there are less events but the same number of rounds toward the championship.
The good news is that we have a title sponsor for next year in the shape of Fuelforce, they own the Jet Petrol stations and other affilated businesses.

29/3
21/4 - Easter
5/5
26/5
21-22/6
2/8
25/8
13-14/9
4/10

implicitly confirmed BTCC dates are out somewhere - Combe's races on Sep 13/14 include Maranello Challenge which is also supposed to be at Thruxton two weeks later

I heard, can't actually remember where from, that the Pembrey 1 hr would go ahead but that it would be the only one, i.e. no 1 hr at Snetterton this season ! Shame......
