Great news, already in the diary the last two rally stages at Brands were terrific. Might need woolly hat and gloves tho

Cheers

My driver has just had a hernia operation - we're not doing Longmoor as he probably won't be back in action by then and Brands is only a couple of weeks later. Fingers crossed though!

Hoping to be around to watch this: I see the website is saying that the inside of Druids and the rally stage will be opened up, so should be some good spots to spectate from.

Yes, same plan as the Summer event really, which seemed to work better. We can't please everyone [some people want a purpose built jump and water splash for example] but the access to Druids / Paddock Hill / rally stage have drawn queries in the past and access to them in the Summer received positive feedback.

26 entries to date.

Yep - I gave my son a wave as we went around Druids Someone else caught that on camera

Well - if you're carrying enough speed the car does get airborne in the outer paddock and there was a puddle near the gate through to the rally stage. Near enough

I didn't make the summer event (I seem to recall it clashed with something: rallycross at Lydden?), but the reduction in spectator spots was what put me off going the last winter event.

More spectator spots and no clashes makes me keen to get to this event though.

I see Vince Bristow has entered - is that using the same car he uses for rallycross does anyone know? Roy Gravestock is on the list too - any more rallycrossers coming out to play?

78 entries now. Those with pending entries may want to think about paying to secure their entry, and anyone thinking of putting in an entry is recommended to do it soon!

Brilliant, thanks Bert!

(No colour on the inside of Druids: does that mean the bridge will be closed off?)

I'll try and find out - that link takes you to a pdf with the summer event name and headings, however having just gone through the Brands website I appreciate that it is on the Jan event page....

That map relates to the Summer event (as do the stage diagrams on the Brands Hatch website). Gary, the CoC, is speaking to Brands to try and get them updated.

77 paid and confirmed entries now with 5 pending - max runners are 80. See http://chelmsfordmc.co.uk/Entry/MGJBHWS13/EntryList.php

Up to the full 80 paid entries now - I see a 6R4 has sneaked in but the Focus WRC isn't in as it stands .

1) Yes there will be, the URL isn't available at the moment, but when it is it will be posted on Facebook / Twitter / front page of the website at http://brandshatchstages.co.uk/ There'll be the normal "online commentary" via the Twitter / Facebook links etc as listed above.

2) The commentary probably won't be on the circuit tannoy system this time I'm afraid, this is due to the radio licence Brands holds, and it isn't normally in place over the Winter. However, you can access Rally FM in other ways. To listen on a PC or Laptop go to www.rallyfm.net and click on ‘Listen Live’ or one of the alternate streams. To listen on your phone download the Tunein Radio app and search for RallyFM.

Hope this helps!
