Actually it says "4 days per annum + training day biennially" to maintain grade I can't see as if they would take your grade away for having a year off though |

i dont know much on this subject but even if it did happen if you banged on long enough about not coming back if a grade was taken away im sure the msa would reconsider.

Despite the official line I am sure your grade won't be affected. Therefore you won't need to resort to the gratuitous militancy that is being incited in the previous post.

In the umpteen years I have been marshalling nobody has ever asked to see any evidence of my "right" to hold the grade I have. Now at the "exalted" rank of PC, when I have any marshal on post with me whom I don't know then I do ask their grade and / or experience. I certainly would not be worried if any reasonably experienced (let's say more than 20 days) marshal hadn't marshalled for a year.

im no militant, i dont need to do stuff like that anyway, i always stick to the criteria of what i want/need and if i dont, i except the thing in question has to be given up for a while if it cant be helped. its just friendly chatter im not trying to "incite" anything "gratuitously" just stating the obvious thank you...

gratuitous militancy; I used to suffer armed neutrality with my ex-wife, is that something similar?
