Merlyn Mk3 FJ -61

Hello,
I have a Merlyn Mk3 FJ -1962 that I bought without body. I have made a body myself by looking at pictures, but it's no 100% correct, anyone that know were I can find a body or a mould for a Merlyn Mk 3?

I'm also searching for the history of the car. Chassie nr 16R.

The car was at Merlyns stand at London Auto Exhebition Jan -62, White with a blue stripe.

I bought the car in US 1994, I don't know when it was sent to US, and if it was raced in UK before?

It may be the car that was raced in UK by David Badges 1962, Sports Motors 1963, M Caulton 1964 and Seton Mains garages (driver J Clark) 1965

Anyone that have any information?

BR

Phone Clive at Colchester Racing Developments, he is Merlyn Cars - google the name and you will get his website and tel number. He will be able to get you all the info you require and should be able to help you with bodywork etc as well. Much better than relying on third hand information!!

If he wasnt able to help io would say that you have an uphill task on your hands!! Did he acknowledge that the car exists?

I got a picture from Clive of my car at London Auto exhebition -62. It's mentiond in some car magasin from the period that chassie nr 16R was the car at Merlyns stand.
But Clive dosn't know what happend to the car afterwards.
