The pefect balance of great crowd and great track for racing.....if only all new events could be like this (San Jose doesn't have an airport, does it? )

IIRC, thee is an old military airfield not far from downtown San Jose that would make a superb venue for such an event....

But as always, don't get me started on airports and military airfields.....I'll end up derailing the thread...

Yeah, Tim, I know, but try to get clearance to use those airfields. Besides, it's kind of a Catch-22. Sure, airport circuits offer a unique venue type that provides for great racing, but they wouldn't be nearly as special if there were tons of them out there, would they.
