Prosport LM3000
Please forgive me if this is in the wrong forum, but I've noticed that a lot of Prosports racing in the Castle Combe Special GT series so I thought this may be the place to ask.
I'm looking for more information on these cars, and am interested in getting in contact with anyone who owns/races them. I've had a heck of a time getting contact info for the driver/owners of these beauties. If I could go to a circuit and see them racing, I would, but alas, I'm across the Atlantic and stuck in NASCAR country (ugh). Cheers, Matt |

Matt,
Prosports first came about c.10 years ago as a one make series. the grids were never very good.. perhaps 10 cars maximum. I think the cars were based on Ultimas, and there was an idea to take it to Le Mans (they even produced a kit). There's nowhere to race them apart from the likes of CC GT's and other 'open' sportscar series around the UK. The company that built the cars went bust a long time ago, and I think a group of drivers tried to save the situation.. but didn't. You sometimes see them for sale, and they still fetch well over £20 grand. Not sure of any websites.. |
